Role Overview

As the Diagnostics Specialist you will be responsible for translating engineering specifications to retail predictive analytics solutions that connectivity and over the air vehicle intelligence delivers. You will champion critical platform components providing a valuable impact for Fisker customers from sales to service, executing the strategy and developing a roadmap into practical application at retail. The successful candidate will interpret topics of the broader customer experience domain into actionable goals and tasks by proactively while closely collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of product vision, strategy and roadmap OTA deliverables. This role will support ongoing development that leads to innovative solutions for the full end to end applications and release activities for predictive analytics. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Over-the-Air strategies, navigate complex system integrations needed to translate data into usable forms for sales and service, including roadmaps and proof of concepts as needed, for an electric vehicle.
  • Accountable for developing and deciding together with engineering the hardware used for diagnostics and vehicle testing.
  • Lead diagnostics, evaluate analytics remotely, and predictive diagnostics using data monitoring that translates to retail applications.
  • Own the process and orchestrate inter-departmental collaboration to integrate OTA development alongside and into the CRM, Marketing and the Fisker customer touchpoints. 
  • Champion and drive OTA retail activities, with legal, engineering, manufacturing, quality, technical service and digital      product strategy team. 
  • Identify,research, analyze and distill customer information in all formats to gain true understanding and insight into the culture, practices, dynamics needed to drive Fisker initiatives.
  • Work hands-on identifying and prioritizing deliverables, working alongside various teams to scope, prioritize, plan and deliver features/fixes that address user concerns.
  • Ensure deliverables offer both a valuable customer and business benefit.
  • Identify and drive resolution of critical roadblocks for the supporting teams.

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • OEM HQ experience developing and launching an electric vehicle with over the air capabilities. 
  • Three or more years in a technical product management role with experience in software delivery
  • Entrepreneurial & innovation mindset; flexibility, sense of urgency, creative problem solver, desire to build from the ground up
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Independent / Self Starting.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Good working ethic and team player.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required
  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends where needed to meet deadlines and company goals.
