Job Description
We’re looking to employ an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and talented Composite Jig and Tooling Design Engineer
To fulfil this position you will need to have:
- Recent & relevant experience of Motorsport / F1 Composite Design.
- A good engineering qualification or equivalent and relevant proven experience.
- A good understanding of current composite component requirements, production techniques and processes.
- Experienced user of 3D CAD (Siemens NX desirable but training will be given)
As a Composite Jig and Tooling Design Engineer you:
- Will cover all aspects of Composite Jigging Design.
- Will be required to help in all areas of the Composite Design Department when needed.
- Will be expected to show creativity, to suggest ideas and concepts, and be involved in our wide ranging and ambitious composite activity.
- Will be confident in presenting your ideas and design work.
- Will appreciate the bigger organisational picture and be prepared to be flexible in your approach to suit changing priorities.
- Will be prepared to go the extra mile as and when required.
In this dynamic team environment you will need to be self-motivated, able to work with a minimum of supervision to very tight deadlines and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
