At M-Sport we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International Rally and Race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships.
The drive to deliver World Championship winning rally and race cars is what excites and strengthens our engineers on all events. The core to our continuing success starts with you having influences during the procedures of all our vehicles. Starting with the concept phase to original designs, to running test programmes and defining the key to enhance maximum performance.
With the busy 2022 season underway, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated Design Engineer to strengthen our design team working on some of our primary whole-car design projects.
Duties will include:

Delivering innovative engineering solutions from initial concepts through to production

Fault diagnosis and resolution

Verification of designs through own analysis and CAE
The ideal candidate should:

Be educated in an Engineering degree

Have good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA.

Knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and materials is essential.

Have meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.

Have excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills.
Experience in a similar race or rally setting would be an advantage. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Experience of leading a small team would be beneficial although not essential. A flexible approach to working hours is required and extensive world travel involved.
