Your tasks as Design Engineer:
- Execution of all design activities for an assigned set of transmission components from the first draft till series production under the given restrictions in time, quality and cost
- Definition of modifications to parts and initialization of adjusting the bills of material in our system
- Conduct of package analyses of our transmission and review of packaging and customer specific parts with the customer
- Submission of drawing creation to the detailing department and checking and release of final drawings
- Support of the cost calculation team and other internal departments as purchasing, quality, planning and production
Your profile as Design Engineer:
- Successfully completed degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Working experience in a design engineering role and proficiency in Creo/Pro-E or another 3D-CAD-software
- Basic knowledge of common manufacturing methods and assembly processes in high volume series production and their implications on design
- Good knowledge of calculation methods (e.g. FE-analysis, tolerance calculations, analytical calculations)
- Self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently and good communication skills
