Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Possess general knowledge of cylinder heads
- Provide production machining and assembly support for the manufacturing of cylinder heads.
- Plan, organize, and operate machining centers such as a seat and guide machine, valve honing stand, valve grinder, head decker, and pressure tester.
- Operate Newen EPOC, Rottler surfacer, etc
- Install guides and seats
- Operate SF1020 flow bench
- Skilled with Dotco style grinder
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Manage supplies and equipment, including performing preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and tooling.
- Assist in machining, turning, cleaning, inspecting, and assembly in a team environment.
- Communicate and cooperate with management and other members of the Engine team to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Measuring, preparing, re-assembling, and testing of various components to a defined standard and specification.
- Inspection of cylinder heads and components, and verification they are to the appropriate standard.
- Keep workspace clean and organized to maximize safety and productivity.
- Other duties assigned as needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: Six to eight years related experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Prefer experience with the following programs: Excel, Adapt, Atlas, Team Center, and Motorsports Manager.
Certifications & Licenses:
Other Requirements: Basic math, verbal, writing and reasoning skills required. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as needed. Must be a team player and effectively utilize strong communication skills with others in the department and organization. Extensive mechanical and technical aptitude desired. Technical training in automotive manufacturing a plus.
