Contract Administration Manager

Hendrick Motorsports, a championship-winning NASCAR operation, is currently seeking a Contract Administration Manager in the newly created licensing department with a positive attitude and passion for delivering best-in-class results.

The position requires exceptional attention to details along with a general understanding of contracts and royalty reporting. The Contract Administration Manager will report to the Director of Licensing, ECommerce & Strategy and may from time-to-time work with external stakeholders, including corporate partners, driver representatives, and other third-party brand holders.

The candidate must be detail-oriented and able to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

  • Works directly with leadership on the timely processing and execution of all term sheets, contracts, amendments, and other licensing forms.
  • Oversee entire contracts administration process, ensuring all agreements are organized, recorded and tracked accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure contracts are accurately reflected and executed.
  • Audit legal files prior to closing to ensure proper documentation is included and proper procedures are followed for contract processing.
  • Research and interpret licensing requirements, and document processes and procedures.
  • Manage the process of generating, negotiating, and executing licensing contracts.
  • Provide support to internal business partners by responding to inquiries regarding contract terms.
  • Develop and maintain document management system.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly forecasting and royalty reporting.
  • Work with accounting on quarterly reporting and payments to licensors.
  • Prepare research and analysis on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide support as needed for ad-hoc projects.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Licensing, E-Commerce & Strategy.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in licensing, contract management, or accounting preferred.
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and changes in scope or direction ensuring projects are completed on time and meet or exceed expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Knowledge of online approval system (OpSec) preferred.
  • Operates with professionalism and integrity at all times.
