Role Overview

We are looking for a Content Sr Manager, ideally with experience in digital content strategy and planning, to join the US headquarter in Manhattan Beach, CA. In this role you will be responsible for running digital-first campaigns (brand, product, events and other customer facing programs) globally and help to develop and execute Fisker’s marketing content strategy and planning, including the growth of our customer base as well as its engagement along the customer journey.  This role is expected to deliver on cost efficiencies with effective targeted messaging in a highly logical, data-driven environment.

Reporting to the Sr Digital Marketing Director, this role will perform across marketing disciplines and the business ecosystem to bring effective marketing messaging, its efficiencies and high performance KPIs to the next level.

Candidates for this role must have strong communication skills to maximize engagement in a frequently evolving landscape. The right candidate has experience managing campaigns and content needs across multiple channels reporting to executive management, providing strategic insights and effective countermeasures relating to overarching KPIs in sales, reservations and registrations.

The role is based in Manhattan Beach, CA.

What you will do: 

  • Develop and manage creative and innovative marketing campaigns in media (programmatic, social media, search, in-market, media partners etc.) that engage our customer in different moments in their customer journey
  • Generate unique and impactful ideas for customer activation and customer development
  • Focus on funnel messaging, awareness, consideration and opinion, providing benchmarking, performance and countermeasures
  • Plan and execute the marketing messaging calendar in line with business objectives 
  • Create planning with budget/forecast/actual performance, aligning with production cost efficiencies
  • Define advanced audience segmentations, tactics and targeting to improve our campaigns in the global market
  • Manage the creative agency to execute approved strategy and plan, monitor weekly/monthly performance, and provide countermeasures and evaluations
  • Coordinate with the Media Sr Manager to create creative paid media campaigns aligned with strategy
  • Monitor all relevant performance KPIs and conversion metrics and take actions to improve them
  • Conduct regular A/B testing and run in-depth user data analyses that will directly impact strategy and present your finding effectively to the team and key stakeholders
  • Work with the CRM and Social Media teams to create and monitor re-targeting campaigns

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • You have 5-8 years of experience in content and marketing messaging
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field
  • You have hands-on experience with marketing tools (Microsoft Office, Google Docs or similar), campaign messaging, marketing automation, A/B testing and campaign analysis
  • You have managed multiple agencies to deliver on-time and successful results
  • You have fun working with data and can interpret customer behaviour into actions to improve our campaigns and communicate insights effectively
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • You have strong project management and organization skills combined with strong attention to detail
  • You are familiar with data compliance requirements (especially GDPR)
  • You communicate fluently in English 
  • You have a strong sense of ownership
