Alpine F1 Team have a new opportunity within the Composites Department as an Autoclave Operator.
Autoclave Operator - The Role
The main responsibility of this role will involve the programming, loading and keeping records of the autoclave and ovens cures, ensure jobs are cured in the correct order for the composite production schedule and maintaining the autoclaves and oven.
• Manage the running of the autoclaves
• Communication with cleanroom staff to ensure cures are planned efficiently
• Breaking out of components in a manner sympathetic to preventing damage
• Preparing moulds ready for the next laminating run
• Working as part of team with a common goal
• Meeting deadlines set by event calendars and department requirements using company systems including, though not limited to, “Work To Lists” and D365.
• Process workload and release to next operation as soon as possible.
Autoclave Operator– The Person
The successful candidate will possess good PC skills and work well as team member. Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail are a must, alongside the ability to work under pressure. They may have worked in a similar role before in a manufacturing department.
Although experience would be advantageous, this could be a great opportunity for someone to break into F1 Composites.
