Composite Project Manager

In this role you will manage F1 Car parts projects (e.g. wings, chassis, brake duct, bodywork). Acting as a Project manager, you will assure the coordination and completion of projects following Technical and/or Quality issues. You will oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, monitor, and summarize progress. You will work with the team leaders and group leaders of Composite and Machine Shop production to find and implement the best possible technical solution. You will prepare reports for upper management regarding project’s status and any technical issues that may appear.

  • Work alongside Planning Department to set deadlines and targets

  • Help Design Office to identify the best possible technical solution in terms of process and product results.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders (Design Office) and ensuring its technical feasibility

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Work accordingly to stakeholders (Team Leader, Head of Composite) to reduce lead time and improve Quality

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Give feedback to client (Assembly Department) regarding non-conformity and fault update during race event

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Experience in motorsport industry (better if Formula1)
  • Experience in carbon prepreg industry
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Good English level (spoken and written)
