Main tasks
- Apply theoretical knowledge of material science and mechanical engineering to solve complex engineering challenges
- Design the surface of the bodywork and internal parts from the TCR / R5 cars, as well as design of the engineering of the physical parts
- Create the outer bodywork surface design in relationship with the Aerodynamics Engineer
- Engineer parts in ways to have easy assembling and maintenance in relationship with workshop leader
- Establish ply book in relationship with composite and FEM engineers
- Provide hands-on support of prototype and test sample production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science
- First years of experience in high performance composite part design and analysis
- Have a strong composites background with a solid understanding of materials science and mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Good knowledge of CATIA V5 surface module
- Experience of PLM systems (preferably Windchill)
- Fluent English is compulsory
