The position:
We are currently recruiting for an entry level Component Assembly Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Component Assembly team leader, the individual would receive additional training to be competent in the following tasks/duties -
Assembly
Service and sign-off of assemblies required for the running of race, test, PR and customer cars and rigs.
Sub-assembly components and experience in the assembly / rebuilding of such components.
The ability to work with multiple departments within the production team to ensure cohesion and continuity.
Ideal credentials
The ideal candidate would have recently completed their apprenticeship or formal training preferably in motorsport or would have previous experience in build, strip, service & sign-off testing of mechanical components or assemblies, be capable of following & conforming to our current Engineering and Manufacturing policies and procedures. They will play an important part in assisting to improve the department’s performance, whilst maintaining a high standard of staff and department presentation.
In compliance with national Secure Freight Consigner conditions, five years’ continuous employment, education and/or training must be evidenced and any gaps exceeding 28 days accounted for. A criminal record check will also be carried out. This will be explained in more detail during interview.
