In the role of Cell Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a cell manufacturing wound, composite components for medical equipment.
This will involve:
- Management of work to lists and delivery program as supplied by the Production Manager
- Coordinating team members such that they achieve their production goals.
- Delivery of all kit and band components on time and to the correct specification.
- Winding of composite components and kit compilation for projects in the medical industry requiring strong attention to detail, cost and quality. Carrying out work in adherence to technical drawings, internal and external specifications and build instructions as appropriate ensuring accuracy and process documentation.
- Bonding and wrapping items in accordance with defined standards.
- Working with manufacturing engineering to support the development of standard work instructions and taking part in design for manufacture workshops for new product introduction.
- Identifying, defining and supporting the introduction of continuous improvement activities from both procedural and environmental projects.
- Training and developing current and future Staff.
Specific Skills & Experience:
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant previous experience of working with a broad range of materials in the Medical/Motorsport / F1 or Aerospace industries.
- Comfortable working to tight time frames with demanding quality requirements.
