Main tasks
- Perform structural analysis of metallic and composite car components using both Finite Element Analysis and hand calculation methods
- Optimize existing design identifying opportunities
- Contribute to design review from structural point of view
- Define and follow structural proof tests
- Analysis of results and improvement of the model correlation
- Follow the evolution in terms of material and manufacturing technologies
- Report and maintain the calculation achievement
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering or equivalent education
- Several years of design experience, preferentially within top-level motorsport industry
- Demonstrated expertise of metallic and composite materials
- Strong knowledge of Hyperworks or ANSYS
- High sense of analysis and innovation
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance and to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Self-motivation and team playing skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills at all levels
- A flexible approach to working hours and tasks is essential
