Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Business analytics and Reporting Analyst to support our Motorsports department, in Marietta GA. The Business Analytics and Reporting Analyst supports management in sales analytics, helping to support development of retail or wholesale type programs.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in research of sales market trends, competitive data, and regional performance to aide in development of go forward sales strategies, initiatives and programs.
- Develop and monitor internal metrics to manage Mid-Term Plan, Budget and MBO objectives that impact critical business decisions.
- Supporting management on key projects such as supply chain activities, budget and sales analysis, and monthly executive presentation
- Assist in development of sales targets, reporting for Sales group. And tracking of district manager sales incentives.
- Prepare various daily, weekly, monthly sales reports.
- Ad hoc reporting/presentation building
- Develop, enhance and maintain key reports utilizing excel and various data warehouses
- High interaction with all departments within the Motorsports group. Collaborate with other divisions to pull and understand the data being analyzed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in analytics and reporting
- Motorsport industry experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills + Strong Business Objects or equivalent skills required
- Ability to easily communicate sometimes difficult concepts either verbally or visually using charts and graphs.
- Effective ability to multi-task to ensure deadlines are met
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
