Blackdog Speed Shop has immediate openings at our brand-new facility for Senior Performance Technicians.
Responsibilities of Performance Automotive Technician:
- Fabricate and install custom components on performance and collector cars
- Tune, modify and build high performance cars and trucks for both the street and the race track.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair both factory and customized automotive systems including: Electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission.
- Perform quality inspections of vehicle to identify necessary and recommended repairs.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Communicate directly with the Shop Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs to proper specifications.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
