Auto Repair Mechanic

Automotive Repair Technician must be familiar with hands on assembly and disassembly of mechanical and electrical components. Automotive Repair Technician will use work instructions, drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions as well as exercise judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Must be able to achieve department goals on daily and weekly basis with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following items:
  • Perform inspections/diagnostics to determine any service needs.
  • Operate electronic equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Follow and document work repair order in accordance with manufacturer and factory standards.
  • Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards.
    • Assemble or disassemble mechanical and electrical structures.
    • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to interior settings.
    • Basic Microsoft data entry skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must have 3- 5 years automotive repair experience
  • Must have basic mechanical hand tools, i.e., trim tools and socket set
  • Must be able work individually and in a team environment
  • Must have great attention to detail
  • Must have professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must maintain professional appearance
  • Good customer interface skills
