Job Description

This position will be responsible for office administrative duties in support of both production and office coordination, along with Accounts Payable and clerical duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Accounts Payable data entry & supplier EDI processing; gather invoices for month-end accruals
  • Weekly check run processing, generating foreign wire transfers and netting balances to ITW companies
  • Maintain accounts payables balances, “Received-not-invoiced” ledger and run all monthly A/P reports
  • Communication with suppliers for open items related to A/P and Received Not Invoiced items
  • Backup production backflushing of raw materials into finished goods
  • Maintain LMS, employee training records system
  • Procurement card, American Express card and travel (Concur) expense management
  • Administer/track employee tuition reimbursement, safety-shoe allowance and eyeglass programs
  • Responsible for maintaining general office supplies
  • Responsible for record-keeping and filing in compliance with records retention policy
  • Maintain bulletin boards, coordinate on-site meetings and customer visit preparations
  • Compile sales and use tax information to report onto Miller Central accounting
  • Assist coordination of monthly BU meetings and other BU-wide functions
  • Typing, filing, mail distribution, greeting customers/vendors; general office duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidate must possess an Associate’s degree in Office Administration or related degree. Prior Accounting experience/education is perferred.
  • This candidate must be willing to learn multiple job functions, be extremely detail-oriented, highly organized and able to meet deadlines with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and able to master other diverse computer data entry tasks.
  • Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude, high motivation and excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills; both in person and on the phone.
  • Must be able to project a professional image to represent Miller Electric.
