Administrative Assistant

This full-time role is based in our Concord, NC, office and supplies administrative support.

Duties
* Provide administrative support which could include and is not limited to: researching and booking travel; managing calendars; expense reports; scheduling and monitoring phone calls and/or meetings; completing expense reports; and other general and clerical needs
* Provide lead role in maintaining relationship with hotel travel management and fleet services companies; troubleshoot concerns; verify billing and other records
* Provide customer care as a member of an inbound call center team for event ticket sales
* Develop and maintain necessary files in either hard or electronic formats
* Serve as a gatekeeper by screening callers and visitors
* Support and participate in end of year banquets
* Work with sponsor and series staff to distribute radio and headset equipment; coordinate repairs; maintain accurate inventory records
* Execute special projects and requests
* Receive, screen and distribute correspondence such as mail, packages and faxes
* Prepare and send mail, packages and freight shipments
* Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
* Monitor and ensure operation of office equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions; arrange for maintenance as needed
* As necessary, provide at-event support in a number of roles
* Other duties as assigned

Skills: 
* 1-2 years previous administrative support necessary
* High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
* Interest in short track, dirt racing preferred
* Able to work on a Mac
* Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook abilities needed; experience with PowerPoint and/or Photoshop helpful
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Able to solve problems quickly
* Strong organizational skills necessary
* Proven history of successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously
* Able to maintain positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations
* High sense of ownership and personal accountability required
