ADM Technician (weekend Shift)

Due to the exciting new expansion of the ADM department, we are looking for high-performing and experienced ADM Technician (SLA) to join our team.

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record and high level of understanding of SLA 3D Printing technology.

  • You will be required to program and operate SLA 3D printing machines to an industry leading standard.
  • You must have strong SLA skills to include all calibration work, understanding the materials (in particular, ceramic filled resin) and be able to develop all processes.
  • You will be on call as part of a rota 1 week in 6.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record and high level of understanding of 3D printing technology.

 

The successful candidate must:

  • Have good working knowledge of SLS or DMLS 3D printing technology inclusive of programming and machine operation
  • Have experience of calibration, fault finding and optimisation of SLS or DMLS machines
  • Have experience of SLS or DMLS materials and their characteristics and the health and safety relating to them
  • Have experience of SLA and FDM technologies
  • Possess confident and strong communication skills
  • Be results orientated
  • Be data driven and analytical
  • Possess the ability to build good working relationships within a small team
  • Be able to thrive in a challenging and time-driven environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • DMLS/SLS machine operation, part programming, heat treatment, part finishing and machine maintenance and calibration
  • Basic level FDM, SLA part programming
  • Operate 3D systems machines
  • Operate Stratasys machines
  • Processing build platforms across all technologies

This role is Friday to Sunday, 6.00am to 6.00pm. You will also be part of an on call rota 1 week in 5.
