Coming to you in the fall of 2018, Three Rivers Karting (TRK) will be the newest, premier Indoor Karting facility in the Pittsburgh Tri-State area, located west of the city. The owners are racing and car enthusiasts who made it their mission to design and build a state-of-the-art facility that captures and delivers a true racing experience. Visitors can expect to feel immense excitement and an adrenaline rush while racing on TRK’s adventurous track.
KARTS:
The karts will be equipped with the latest electric karting technology, providing drivers with instant power and torque, experiencing speeds up to 35 MPH. The kart’s features caters to the driver’s preference, allowing for adjustment between automatic and manual shifting. No other karting facility in the Tri-State area provides drivers with this unique experience. The manual mode shifting capability will be used during league or special events. This is for the safety of the consumers as skill levels vary greatly between drivers.
TRACK:
The owners of TRK have a passion for racing, both on the track and in karting facilities. This passion has led to experience. This experience has led to a creative design. The track’s layout is built with flexible technology, allowing for quick changes to the track design, creating a whole new racing experience. You can expect track changes to occur at least bi-annually, ensuring our drivers always experience a rush. We have some tricks up our sleeves such as reverse runs, track expansion, and who knows, maybe even some indoor/outdoor racing possibilities in future track designs! One thing is for sure, our drivers will have a Karting experience second to none!
SAFETY:
At Three Rivers Karting, safety is our number one priority. To operate the karts, drivers are required to be a minimum of 54” tall. Drivers under 18 years of age will be required to have a complete Parental Consent Form and Waiver prior to racing. Due to the karts high speeds, a training video is required for first time participants. You can expect another quick briefing before entering the pit area and karts. Helmets are mandatory and provided by TRK along with neck braces (recommended) for each driver. In addition, closed toe shoes are required and available for rent.
