The company’s products, designed and manufactured by the various Liberty subsidiaries, range from steel tube to axles, from body panels to braking systems, and from castings to bonnet closure parts. The business provides advanced solutions to the automotive industry though an integrated approach to customer requirements, where each of the subsidiaries adds their special expertise in the design, rapid prototyping, sample development and delivery of components and materials. Currently, Liberty Vehicle Products provides drive-train, BIW, chassis components and modular systems to an ever growing number of global automotive companies.
Other companies from the Group’s steel and engineering divisions also supply a range of products to the automotive industry. Liberty Precision Tubes, for example, is a major manufacturer of tube for exhaust pipe applications, auto door beams and seat safety mechanisms. Other examples of automotive products produced by the Group include aluminum castings, park brake levers, and pressure tubes.
